POLYMASON

Low poly stone, built to your size

Build this stone

A stone is the rock a character can pick up or trip over: about 60 cm across as proposed, a little flatter than it is wide, with enough faces to look worn smooth. It's the one to scatter along a path, in a stream bed or around a campfire, where it'll be seen from a few meters away. Push roundness up and it becomes a river pebble with forty small faces. Pull it down and it turns into a chunk of broken rock with a dozen. Set the starting shape to cube or hex and the same stone becomes a cobble or a cut block from a ruined wall. At about 50 triangles, ten of them cost less than one maple, so a riverbank can take plenty. Two or three stone colors in one scene keep it from looking like a pattern.

The export is a zip with OBJ, STL and 3MF. The OBJ uses the shared palette texture, so it shares one material with every other model from here, and has flat normals in the file. It's in meters and stands on the ground at the origin. The rocks page covers every kind, and the OBJ guide covers importing.
